BIODIESEL - BRAZIL L.L.C. is an organization focused on funding, producing and
marketing biodiesel in large scale. BDB is a Brazil based company with the
knowledge and resources necessary to complete the largest network of biodiesel production
facilities in the Brazil.
The potential demand for biodiesel
worldwide far exceeds the production capacity of existing and proposed biodiesel plants.
Our mission is to explore renewable
biofuel energy opportunities in Brazil, the world’s largest ethanol producer and a large producer of
biodiesel. Dual-fuel - "Flex Fuel" - engines have recently become available and represent some 80% of the
cars produced in Brazil in 2005. Brazil is also expanding its production and consumption of biodiesel
and other biofuels as it diversifies its alternative energy market. Specifically, it is actively involved in
research and development of biodiesel produced from Jatropha Curcas L .
BDB is expanding its operations in Brazil and venturing into new opportunities, especially
in the United States
and Europe. The company invites investors and business enterprises from around
the world to join hands
in a mutually beneficial business
association.
High crude oil prices have lent new
urgency to Brazil’s quest for alternative and renewable energy sources, especially biodiesel using Jatropha
Curcas L.
Current global biodiesel production is
1.3 million tons and increasing by 14% per year. At his rate of growth,
production will reach 2.7 million tons in 2010. However, given that
the estimated demand will be 7.2 million tons in 2010, even this
higher level of production will leave a shortfall of 4.5 million tons.
